At Gethsemane Church, our ministries are dedicated to sharing God’s love, serving others, and growing in faith together. From youth programs and nursing home visits to community outreach and discipleship, each ministry is designed to spread the Gospel and meet spiritual and practical needs. Whether it’s through prayer, teaching, or acts of service, our goal is to glorify God and make a lasting impact in our church, community, and beyond.
Nursing Home Ministry
Our Nursing Home Ministry is dedicated to bringing comfort, encouragement, and the hope of God’s Word to residents. Through regular visits, we share uplifting messages, hymns, and prayers, reminding them of God’s love and presence. Our goal is to brighten their days, provide spiritual care, and foster meaningful connections. It’s a privilege to serve and share the joy of Christ with those in this special season of life.
Glove Box Bible
I'm sure you have been to a hotel room and opened the drawer just to find that a Bible was placed there. Countless people with testimonies of changed lives (people who have come to know Jesus) just because a Bible was placed in a drawer.
Our goal is to do this same work with vehicles! We work with dealerships placing the Gospel in each glove box. We are blessed to have dealerships who will allow us to do this work!
Church Chops Cookouts
Our Church Chops Cookout is a delicious way to support a great cause! We grill up pork chops, hot dogs, and more to raise funds for Christian education scholarships for children and to contribute to our church building fund. This twice-a-year cookout is a great way to enjoy fellowship, support important causes, and connect with others while making a positive impact on our church and the next generation of believers.
Youth Rallies
Youth Rallies are an incredible opportunity for the next generation to grow in their faith and learn to follow God's path for their lives. These events focus on teaching the truths of Scripture and equipping youth to stand firm in God's Word no matter the circumstances. Alongside worship and impactful lessons, teens enjoy fun, competitive games, and fellowship with other believers. These rallies inspire and challenge our youth to live boldly for Christ in a supportive and uplifting environment.
Bus Ministry
At Gethsemane Church, we’re incredibly thankful for the dedicated team that makes our bus ministry possible. Often called one of the most impactful outreach tools in church history, this ministry provides transportation for children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise have a way to attend church. It’s all about breaking down barriers and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to connect with God and our church community.
Life Chain
Our Life Chain Event is a peaceful and prayerful gathering where we stand together to advocate for the sanctity of life. As a church, we take time to pray for the unborn, their families, and the end of abortion, showing our commitment to protecting life at every stage. This powerful public witness is a way to share God’s love and truth while making a stand for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Library
Our Church library has something for everyone! Whether you’re searching for an inspiring book, a music CD, or a wholesome family movie, you’ll find it here. This free resource is available to all regular church attendees, offering a wide variety of materials to enjoy and grow in your faith.
Seed The City
We are excited to share God’s Word by gifting two powerful books of the Bible—John and Romans—to every household in our city. Through this outreach, we’re planting the seeds of truth, hope, and salvation in the hearts of our community. The books of John and Romans clearly present the message of God’s love and the path to eternal life through Jesus Christ. Our mission is to ensure that every home has access to these life-changing scriptures. Join us in prayer as we seek to touch lives and fulfill the Great Commission, one home at a time!
At Gethsemane Church, we are committed to sharing the love of Christ through door-to-door visitation. As we go out into the community, we personally invite families to join us for church and take the opportunity to tell them about the Lord. Through these visits, we not only extend a warm welcome but also share the life-changing message of salvation.
